Garry’s Mod has to be one of the best mods for the Half Life engine: it is basically a ‘physics sandbox’ allowing direct manipulation of props, characters and other sprites from games that are released by Valve. Best of all its multiplayer meaning you are able to share and make contraptions with friends making it a whole new experience.
On the Garry’s Mod website (http://www.garrysmod.com/) is a section dedicated to ‘Challenges’, set by the website. A topic is set and then a scene is created in Garry’s Mod to reflect it. See http://www.garrysmod.com/challenge/ for the current and past challenges- some entries are pretty amusing :).

Make a themed screenshot in GMod that in some way captures the magic and romance of a Valentine.
